Florentine Families
Network Type
Overview
The Florentine families network represents marriage ties among prominent families in Renaissance Florence.
We lifted the graph to its clique complex using toponetx.graph_to_clique_complex, so cliques become higher-dimensional simplices.
This dataset is suited to test graph-based methods on a small historical social network and to exercise AHORN’s clique-complex dataset structure.
